There are peak seasons for a stage hypnotist. They include spring high school prom and grad party season, summer fair season, fall college season and winter corporate Christmas party season. Of course fundraisers, conventions and conferences are scattered about throughout the year.
One sad reality is that most folks don't know how to shop for a hypnotist. I've had parent groups for post prom parties call me three weeks before prom thinking that I would be free. I know for a fact many of those schools ended up not finding a hypnotist who could do their show. And if they did, they discovered there was a good reason that hypnotist wasn't already booked.
The reality is that many of better hypnotists book up six months or more ahead of the events. I'm over half booked for the spring high school season right now. In fact, I have turned down about a dozen schools for their prom because I was already booked for their prom date. The fair bookings are coming in already eight months ahead of the season. And, by early summer, I'll be booking Christmas parties for 2018.
So the point of this very short blog entry is to be proactive. If you have an event coming up where you need quality entertainment, start planning early. Do your shopping for a hypnotist as early as you can if you want a good one. If you wait until the last minute, you may or may not get a hypnotist for your event.
